Craft Cocktails: Using Fresh Herbs for Fresh Cocktails

Join Countryside and cocktail enthusiast and Editor of Edible Cleveland Jon Benedict for a farm-to-shaker workshop exploring how to utilize farm fresh herbs for delicious summertime cocktails. Utilizing seasonal ingredients, Jon will showcase a few examples of herb-infused cocktails, and share recipes for recreating them at home.

Jon is a native of Northeast Ohio, and has spent his professional career helping organizations, both public and private, enhance their public images and further their strategic goals. He is Vice President of the strategic communications firm R Strategy Group where he specializes in media relations, crisis communications and political campaign consultation. Jon graduated cum laude from Cleveland State University with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. He is an avid, if amateur, home cook, and he is fortunate to have a family with refined palates and significant patience. He lives in Cleveland Heights with his two children and an exceedingly kind wife.
