Homemade Crust

The phrase “Easy as Pie” does not feel accurate if crust stops you in your tracks. Crust can be intimidating at first, but it need not continue to be a barrier to making and enjoying delicious homemade pies. And with the holidays fast upon us, getting your pie game sorted is essential! Join Chef Larkin Rogers and Countryside for an evening exploring two different crust variations, their techniques, and sample fillings. Chef Larkin will guide the class through their creation, with pies to sample, and dough to take home to create your own pie. 

Larkin Rogers is a Culinary Institute of America trained chef, who loves to explore culinary history. Chef Larkin was chef/owner of a highly acclaimed, award winning restaurant in England; a personal chef and caterer; and a culinary instructor at Western Reserve School of Cooking; whose talents are now highlighted at Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
