Welcome to the 2017 season!

Countryside Farmers' Market at Howe Meadow is entering its 14th season in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We are thrilled to be welcoming back many returning vendors, as well as some new ones! We'll be filled to the brim, every Saturday, with freshly-harvested produce, pastured meats and eggs, artfully crafted baked goods and food products, delicious coffee and tea, beautiful arts and crafts, fresh-cut flowers, mouth-watering breakfasts, and MORE. Everything is local and sold by the producers themselves.

Here's some of what you can expect to find this Saturday, April 22nd ~

Fresh, vibrant fruit & veg: radishes, ASPARAGUS, salad turnips, microgreens ~ many varieties, apples, lettuce, carrots, spinach, onions, kale, swiss chard, beets, kohlrabi, mushrooms, garlic, salad mix
Fresh and frozen sustainably-raised meats: pastured chicken, certified organic pastured goat, traditional charcuterie, various cuts of buffalo, delicious and creative, sausages, beef and pork cuts
Mouthwatering breakfasts!
Grains, puffed spelt, oatmeal! Sunflower bird seed for our feathered friends!
Creative, crafted food products: honey, marinated eggplant and peppers, fresh salsas ~ mild to "you'll need a cold beer" extra hot, "choose-your-own-topping" cupcakes, kale chips, Los Naranjos Colombian coffee beans, kimchi, baklava and other delicious Greek pastries, creatively and deliciously infused olive oils, maple syrup, gluten-free breads and baked goods, hearty artisan bread loaves, granola 
Hand crafted creations: snuggly all-cotton crocheted hats, recycled paper bead jewelry, beautiful stained glass pieces, comforting and cleaning soaps and lotions
Beverages, refreshing and invigorating: ready to drink hot coffee, naturally fermented ginger ale, cider, pour-over coffee

This week's Market Music provided by ~ First Class Brass

First Class Brass is a brass quintet based in Northeast Ohio, consisting of two trumpets, one french horn, one trombone, and one tuba. Their music covers a wide range of styles, including classical, jazz, ragtime, pop, marches, and more. Their performances are a treat for all ages.
The ensemble has played at the Countryside Conservancy Farmers’ Market for several years, and is looking forward to another exciting season of enthusiastic crowds and fabulous local foods. They can also be found at various venues around Northeast Ohio, from fairs to churches, playing concerts, background music, and weddings.

We are very excited to be hosting Crafty Mart again this season! The first of their 4 visits to Howe Meadow will be next Saturday, April 29th. Can't wait to meet and shop with the fun and eclectic vendors who will be joining us!
