Organic by Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA). Our pork
is no longer certified because our Processor no longer gets certified.
If your meat processor is not certified, then your meat cannot be
certified. Our meat was certified until the summer of 2012. We still
make our feed for the pigs from our own Certified Organic crops and use
the same Fertrell vitamin/mineral supplement that we used when

Farm History: Our Farm has been Certified Organic since 1989 by Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA)
Animal Husbandry Practices: Our sows (mothers) have free access to outdoors. The growing pigs are not outside, but are in a building that is completely open to the east so that they have fresh air and sunshine. They have plenty of room to roam around. They are fed feed that we grind ourselves completely from our own Certified Organic crops and we add a vitamin/mineral supplement mix made by Fertrell. We do not give them any antibiotics, hormones, or medicines in their feed or otherwise at all. The pigs' diet is exactly the same that it was when the pigs were certified organic. And all practices in caring for the pigs is exactly the same that it was when the pigs were certified organic.
