Farm History: Jim Dillon purchased an old farm in 1977 and rebuilt the barn and renewed the farmland, planting apple trees and berry bushes. Over the past 39 years the farm has changed from growing primarily apples to specializing in berries, especially blueberries. In 2013, Zach and Denise Miller began leasing the farm, as Jim and his wife Karen retired. Zach and his seven siblings have all worked at and been involved with the farm for fifteen years. The soil is Wooster silt loam.

Water Use: drip irrigation, fed by rain water ponds on the farm.

Weed Control: conventional, also with minimal application. We also do a lot of manual weeding and keep our fields and orchard well-mowed.

Pest Control: conventional, with minimal application and organic options when feasible. We also make it a priority to keep plants and soil healthy to minimize insect population.

Fun Fact: We specialize in berries and pick- your-own farm experience. We strongly believe in the importance of staying small and local, to provide the people in our area with the finest fruit, grown by folks they know. We are proud to hire and provide good summer jobs for the people in our community.
