Welcome to the 2017 season of Countryside Winter Farmers' Market at Old Trail School! We have a whole season of delicious fun ahead! Scroll down for a list of participating vendors; click on their names for more information. Also, be sure to check out the vendor map - this feature updates every week to show which vendors are scheduled to attend and where they will be located in the market.

Here's a sampling of what you can expect to find:

Fresh, vibrant fruit & veg: radishes, turnips, spring onions, winter squash, microgreens, apples, hydroponic lettuce varieties, carrots, spinach, potatoes, onions, kale, swiss chard, beets, kohlrabi, fresh herbs ~ sage, thyme, parsley, rosemary, mushrooms, turnips, garlic, sweet potatoes, cabbage, fennel

Frozen fruits and veggies (field to freezer!): green beans, peppers, broccoli
Fresh and frozen sustainably-raised meats: pastured chicken, certified organic pastured goat, various cuts of buffalo, sausages, beef and pork cuts
Mouthwatering breakfasts!
Grains, puffed spelt, oatmeal! Sunflower bird seed for our feathered friends!
Creative, crafted food products: honey, artisan cream doughnuts, raw cashew cheesecake, fresh salsas ~ mild to "you'll need a cold beer" extra hot, kale chips, Carmona Pulcal Guatemala coffee beans, kimchi, baklava and other delicious Greek pastries, creatively and deliciously infused olive oils, maple syrup, gluten-free breads and baked goods, hearty artisan bread loaves, granola, Tanzania Peaberry Arusha coffee beans       
Hand crafted creations: snuggly all-cotton crocheted hats, recycled paper bead jewelry, beautiful stained glass pieces, lovely and lacy note cards
Beverages, refreshing and invigorating: ready to drink hot coffee, naturally fermented ginger ale, cider, pour-over coffee 

This week's CommUNITY Yoga Play provided by ~ Tracy Rhinehart 

CommUNITY Yoga Play is offered from 9am ~ 10am on market Saturdays. Certified yoga teachers from area studios will lead a playful and peaceful 60-minute all-level community yoga class. Open to ages 7 and up. Bring a child, parent, friend or sibling and a yoga mat or blanket. A waiver is required for each child and adult. $10/participant via cash or check to Countryside Conservancy; half of proceeds benefit Countryside.

This week's cafe music provided by ~ Squirrel Jam


Squirrel Jam has been playing bluegrass and old-time American music since 2011. Over the years, the lineup has included pennywhistle, hammer dulcimer, and as many as 5 banjos! Squirrel Jam currently features standard bluegrass instruments, with mandolin, fiddle, banjo, guitar, Dobro, and bass. We’re happy to be a regular at the Countryside Markets.
