A vendor with Countryside Farmers' Market since 2012.
Products: All cotton crocheted dishcloths and hats - baby through adult.
Fun Facts: When I was a young girl, my next door neighbor, Marge, taught me how to crochet in the summer evenings on her front porch. She took the time to explain the fine art of crocheting while she worked on her latest project. But mostly, she kindly taught me patience when I was known to have little.
I started with a beginners project - it was a blanked that appeared to have a triangular shape. (Marge thought it was great.) And then I advanced to the ever popular and groovy potholder vest and the long open weave hippy vest with the tassel tie closure.
I still have trouble reading directions, but her basics led me to many soft baby blankets, warm granny square blankets, scarves, hats, funky slippers, etc.
As you can tell, I started my hobby in the 60s. Now I am married and the busy mother of 4. With limited time, the useful dishcloth has become one of my favorite projects.
